Alocasia reginae 'Miri'

Description: A beautiful species native to lowland alluvial forests in northern Sarawak and Kalimantan. The thick leathery leaves, which can be up to 25 cm in large specimens, are greyish in colour above and dark purple beneath. Cultivated in the US as Alocasia ‘Elaine’. Cultivation recommendations: Very attractive potted plant due to its compact growth form and decorative foliage. Easy to grow but requires warmth and humidity. Performs well in shady conditions.
