Amorphophallus costatus
Description: A large growing species with the stoutly ribbed spathe carried on the top of a long peduncle. Curious matte petiole with large black circular markings. We are not as yet fully confident of the identity of this species since it matches the description of A. costatus in the spathe spathe and ribbing but parts of the description of A. rugosus in terms of the long peduncle.Cultivation recommendations: Easily grown in rich soil in half to deep shade.
