Amorphophallus sp. nov. Niah
Description: Yet another, as yet undescribed, species from the northern limestones of Sarawak. The inflorescence is white with a deep maroon base inside and carried close to the ground, with a long warty spadix emerging from the narrowly urn-shaped spathe. Similar to A. sp. nov. Bintulu but differing in the wholly green leaves and various defferences in the flowers.Cultivation recommendations: Easily grown in rich soil in half to deep shade.
