Alocasia cuprea 'Apau'
Description: A beautiful species from Sabah that has also recently been found in Sarawak. Large ribbed glossy leaves that resemble copper-tinted grey breastplates. The best forms have the back of the leaf rich claret red. Perhaps the most beautiful of the larger species.Cultivation recommendations:
A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Soil should be rich and well drained. The best leaf colours form in plants grown in shade
