Alocasia melo 'Telupid'
Description: A recently described species that has so far only been found in Sabah, where it is restricted to ultramafic soils. Heavily textured leaves that resemble grey sharkskin. White spathe with some red spotting on the lower parts. A beautiful dwarf-growing and very desirable species. Cultivation recommendations:
A tropical lowland plant requiring high humidity and a minimum temperature of 20 C for good growth. Soil should be rich and well drained.
