Description: A rarity in nature, N. adnata is found at only a few isolated sites in West Sumatera where it grows on damp mossy cliffs. The delicate slender stems, adnate leaf bases, and dainty spotted pitchers are distinctive features of this species; it has no obvious close relatives within the genus.
