Description: A rare highland species from the mountains of Aceh in northern Sumatera. Nepenthes densiflora was described in 1940 but was not rediscovered in the wild again until recent years. The stunning lower pitchers are a deep wine-red in colouration; the funnel-shaped upper pitchers are yellow. It is a close relative of N. bongso and N. ovata.
